Jyssika is a Queer, white settler and community organizer, living and working on traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe, and Neutral peoples, covered by the One Dish One Spoon Wampum Belt, colonially known as Hamilton. 

Jyss bridges grassroots knowledge and tactics with systemic theories of change. Her work and perspectives are grounded in mentorship, learnings, and teachings from Hamilton’s vibrant activist communities.

They bring over 10 years of experience working in queer and trans communities and justice movements to The Enchanté Network in their role as Manager of Public Affairs and Communications. Most recently, Jyss was the co-founder of speqtrum Hamilton, and participated in the initial summits that led to the creation of The Enchanté Network.  

Jyss is particularly interested in cross-movement work, intergenerational mentorship, strategic communications and advocacy, and contemporary queer haircuts.
