The Enchanté Network is calling all its rural members! From January to March, we are putting together 5 virtual consultations to connect rural 2SLGBTQI+ organizations, address different topics and identify the systems-level barriers these organizations face.

Rurality is a concept that can be perceived in different ways and that needs to be centered in 2SLGBTQI+ rights advocacy. We recognize that for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQI+ people, rurality is defined not only by the density or size of a population, but also by barriers to feeling like you belong in a community or to find inclusive and affirming services to ensure physical and psychosocial well-being.

If you are a grassroots organization, coalition, collective, or nonprofit that serves rural communities in any and all provinces and territories from coast to coast to coast, we invite you to join us in conversations, share your knowledge, and hear other’s experiences on topics like mental health, gender-based violence, anti-racism, anti-oppression, reconciliation, healthcare, safety, and decolonization

You are welcome to join all consultations or select the ones you are most interested in. Here is everything you need to know about each of them:
