Why become a member?

The Enchanté Network was created as a result of 2Spirit and LGBTQ+ advocates coming together to fulfil a need for a network connecting our communities from coast to coast to coast. Our founding AGM took place in February 2020 and our network is brand new and full of potential.

Funding

The first piece of programming for the Enchanté Network was the launch of our $110,000 pool of funding for capacity building micro-grants. With the announcement of the micro-grants recipients on March 20th, our next few months will be focused on supporting and documenting the recipients, promoting next year’s round of funding, networking with 2Spirit and LGBTQ+ organizations to expand to membership, and developing our next pieces of programming to better support our communities.

Programming

Our team of staff and board members are eager to meet with our existing and prospective members. We will be conducting a comprehensive survey of 2Spirit and LGBTQ+ organizations in Canada, and in order to develop programming that fulfils their needs. Additionally, we will continue to host annual summits for groups to learn from each other and have their say in the running of our network.
