They/them

Sam is a non binary transmasculine white settler from Ottawa, now living in Toronto as they study inclusive design.

Sam has been involved in advocacy for trans youth since 2016, when they soon cofounded by-and-for trans youth group, Support and Education for Trans Youth (SAEFTY). After completing a degree in knowledge integration, they are excited to help build connections and support the work of queer-led organizations across Canada. Sam’s role at Enchanté will explore social innovation and finance as a tool to help our members grow their capacity as supporters of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Sam loves crocheting and reading science fiction rooted in radical imagination by authors like N.K. Jemisin.
